1. Booking and Payment

All tours must be booked and paid for in advance to secure your reservation. Your booking is confirmed only upon receipt of full payment. We accept various payment methods, including major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex), PayPal, and direct UK bank transfers. 2. Cancellation and Refund Policy

You can cancel your booking for a **full refund** as long as you provide at least **48 hours' notice** before the tour's scheduled start time. Cancellations made within **48 hours** will be charged **50% of the tour price**. No-shows or cancellations made less than 12 hours before the tour are non-refundable. 3. Weather and Tour Operation

Our tours operate in all typical Glasgow weather conditions, including rain and wind. Please come prepared with appropriate clothing and footwear. In the rare event that we must cancel a tour due to extreme and dangerous weather conditions (e.g., severe storms or flooding), you will be offered a **full refund** or the option to reschedule your tour on a different date at no extra charge. We will notify all affected customers at least 2 hours prior to the tour start time.

4. Participant Responsibility and Liability

Participants are responsible for their own safety and personal belongings throughout the tour. While Glasgow Explorer Tours holds comprehensive UK public liability insurance, we are not responsible for any personal injury, property damage, or loss of personal belongings that may occur during the tour. By booking a tour, you agree to these terms and acknowledge the inherent risks associated with walking tours in an urban environment. Please follow your guide's instructions at all times.

5. Age and Health Restrictions

Most of our general walking tours are family-friendly, but children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a paying adult. Specific tours may have stricter age requirements. For example, our whisky and pub tours are strictly for individuals aged **18 and over**, and valid ID may be requested. Please inform us of any relevant medical conditions, allergies, or mobility restrictions when booking so we can ensure the tour is suitable for you.
